Meetings:

Anyone is welcome to join a Rotary meeting. If you would like to attend, it is essential to please send us a message via the contact us form. General meetings usually have a guest speaker and some business announcements. A business meeting is generally held on the fourth Monday of the month and is a standard business-oriented meeting, focusing on current project activities and new initiatives.

Speakers:

This meeting will be a fellowship meeting, focusing on getting to know our club members and guests. Anyone is welcome to join the meeting, if you would like to attend please drop by or send us a message via our contact us form.

Visitors:

The Rotary Club of Pretoria East welcomes visitors from other clubs, local or international, as well as non-Rotarians who are interested in finding out more about Rotary and the good deeds we do. Here we highlight the visitors who have attended our club every month.

Funding is obviously a requirement for many (most) of our projects. Our members primarily donate their time and effort to our projects, although many do also make contributions in money and goods/materials from time to time.

We therefore rely to a large extent on donations and sponsorships. We also have access to the Rotary Foundation for grant funding (and also contribute to the foundation).

We supplement this with fundraising activities from time to time, either for our general welfare/project funds, or for a specific project or beneficiary.

Fundraisers:

Funding is an essential requirement for the success of our projects. Donations and sponsorships are welcome. Our members donate their time and skills to support projects, but we also make an effort to engage in fundraising activities from time to time to support project requirements. Please “like” our Facebook page so that you can be informed about for such events.  

The Rotary Club of Pretoria East also collaborates globally with other clubs in order to access Rotary Foundation grant funding.

Fellowships:

A fellowship meeting is mainly focused on getting to know our club members and guests. Guests usually join a fellowship on invitation by a club member.  Also check out our Facebook page for such events.
